How about evite? I think that is now a very acceptable way of online invitations.

We and our friends, both at school and church, use Evites for almost everything now. They are fun and easy, and seem to improve the RSVP ratio. You can add maps and send out reminders. I'd go with that!

I'm checking evite out right now - and it is one slick site. I think I will go that way.

Question - can invitees see who else was invited or is coming?

Yes then can Nancy. I don't know if you can block that or not. This summer I received an invite to a wedding reception and I enjoyed seeing who was coming.

Yes, they can...and part of the fun is reading the comments people post, not just a simple yes or no!

You can also choose not to show who was invited.

I LOVE e-vite! I think it is super! Very handy. I see that used almost exclusively now for adult things (kid invitations still seem to come via hard copy or phone call). So much so that I just sent out hard copy invitations to my Holiday Brunch in the actual MAIL just for fun!

And a big THANK YOU to Sue -- who totally saved me and created them for me! Hooray Sue! (thanks for helping out when I clearly bit off more than I could chew!)

Hugs,
Ashley
