Re: Spinoff - Are you a touch typist?

Touch typist. Learned in a typing class. Our typewriters (IBM Selectrics II) had the letters on the keys, but if we were caught looking at our hands, we had to cover them with a blank sheet of paper. Forced me to learn, and I am dang proud of it!

Boys. Anthony let his hair grow out - he looked like a shaggy dog cause he would not do anything to it. Not even comb it. I took him to my stylist, and she said he had the "in" look that all the boys were going for! HA. I made him buzz it. I don't mind longer hair, but it has to look decen...

Re: What's for dinner?

Ended up with a mish mash last night. Tacos with hard shells for Neya, Nachos for me (same ingrediants, just a different style), and Anthony had macaroni & cheese. Either tonight or tomorrow is pizza. Not sure about the other night yet. I am thinking of making home made chicken soup tomorrow, as...

Christmas dinner

Do you do anything special from Thanksgiving? As a kid, we did the full turkey dinner again. As an adult, I lean more towards ham. That was our New Years Day dinner, but I am shifting my parents to have this as our Christmas meal.

Re: Laundry tips?

Wanda - I think the liquid detergent is one of the causes of the smell. I switched to powder a while ago. And while a PITB, I always leave the door open.

Oh I totally remember davenport April!

You ladies are good. There is just about something in every post that I recognize.
