Re: Movie Weekend?

Let me know what you think of the new Pooh. I am torn, I don't like classics remade.

Re: This morning...

How cool the temperature was this morning as I walked into the building at work. After unbearably hot weather two weeks ago, it was very refreshing.

Les - glad you started this.

Betsy - oh my! Finn is something else isn't he!

Re: Summer camps (BSA and GSUSA)

Anthony is going to Camp Raymond (BSA) camp this weekend. I really wanted him to go to Fiesta Island in San Diego - all aquatic, but he didn't want to. Oh well, at least he chose the less expensive one! I am very excited for him to go - he is going to get his council master meeting (not sure if that...

Re: Favorite Fruits

I think it was "citrus" fruit. I specifically remember the orange slice served in the Blue Moon (although I wasn't personally there, but obviously made an impact!)

Re: Fluff - Share something fun or frivolous

Going to a Diamondback baseball game on Friday night with grads & interns at work. Had lunch with a really good friend on Saturday that I have not seen in over 6 months.

Re: What's for dinner?

I usually try to buy sub like rolls. I usually get them at Albertsons in the bakery area. Super easy for a weeknight - just heat up sauce, meatballs & monzerella cheese. Each make their own. I had some leftover home made meatballs in the freezer, thawed for about 10 min. on the counter then simm...

Re: What's for dinner?

Jane - one of my co-workers does that. Her biggest complaint is that she got a bag of apples every week, and she is the only one that eats them.

Re: Boost vs Ensure - quick help

Thanks Betsy for the ideas. Probably won't do a fruit smoothie, but perhaps I can tempt him with some muffins. I like how you didn't disclose the different ingrediant. I think we get "set in our ways" and are not willing to try something. I recently discovered that I like fresh boiled beet...

Re: Boost vs Ensure - quick help

Betsy - If you find anything else that works, please let me know! I wish my dad would eat ice cream - he totally lost his sweet tooth when he had his stroke.

I have toyed with the thought of Muscle Milk. Maelyn is there a vanilla and has Tev tried it?

Re: What's everyone reading??

Ann - have you ever read Jen Lancaster? Her first two books were really funny. I wasn't impressed so much with the third one, and haven't read her latest (need to get it from the library). I liked Jennifer Weiner too, I think Little Earthquakes was my favorite.

Re: What's everyone reading??

UGH - I have not been reading much lately. Not really sure why - I love to read and have probably 100 books I haven't read. I am trying Water for Elephants. I know many of you have read it and enjoyed it.
