I suggest:: check out MET(Metropolitan Museum of Art), a Broadway Show, and make sure you book your tkts. for the Rockettes a.s.a.p...also A Christmas Carol is popular NYC holiday showthing to see! Oh and Greenwhich Village. If you love steak and a lot of cool history with ambiance...we suggest Keen...

Re: Which KitchenAid stand mixer do you have?

Kitchen Aid Classic....made in the U.S.A.
It is white and the bowl is stainless...no dents, lol! Flat beater, whisk and dough hook...we use it for pancakes, cakes, cookies, breads, mashed potatos, dips...
I love mine and it is over 21 years old...always on my counter and used often!

Re: KitchenAid Mixer - to keep or not to keep

Julie wrote: Mine lives on my counter and I use it all the time. I vote keep it!

Mine is 21 years old! Marissa uses it at least once a week for baking! I can't imagine not having it, especially for holiday baking and birthday cakes, lol.

Re: Washington? HD suspends mercury limit in swine flu vaccines

erin wrote:That is really scary. I know people are scared of the swine flu, but really? Don't we already know that mercury is a dangerous toxin. Why would be we ok with injecting this for fear of a disease we don't know will actually be dangerous. makes no sense to me what so ever.

Re: Swine Flu Vax

We did have a few cases in our school district which I substitute teach in. I was not worried and neither was my husband and kids.
I have "heard" it could manifest into something "worse."

Just wanted to hear views and anything newsworthy.
