Thanks Linda! I read about subbing for the baking powder but nothing on the baking soda. I am reluctant about altering/omitting the baking soda.

I watched the series first then read eight in a row...off to library to pick up # 9 after work...I love the books and enjoy the series---Iespecially Eric and Bill.... Well, I am hoping it will be the four of us for Christmas Eve since we missed Marissa terribly last Christmas because she was in Paris with Billy and family!
