Re: Fluff -- what you hate

AZ tap water sucks. I grew up very lucky in N. California, where the water is mighty tasty from the tap. So while I drink bottled water, its only to save my internal organs! LOL Not sure what I hate. I do dislike Pumpkin Spice every thing. Really Oreo's? You were fine in just the original and with a...

Re: All-time favorite movie?

All time favorite movies - too many! Sleepless in Seattle, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sixteen candles. There are tons that I will stop and watch - Serendipity and Time Travelers Wife are current favorites.

Re: So what is everyone cooking/baking for the holidays?

Didn't see this before I posted in the Garden.

Pretty sure we are cooking the 1/2 prime rib roast that is in the freezer. Wanda - thanks for some ideas for sides.

Any other suggestions?

I haven't done any baking this year - just haven't had time. Anthony helped my mom though.

Christmas Dinner

So, haven't decided what to cook for Christmas dinner. Most likely will be the 1/2 prime rib roast in the freezer. What sides? I think last year we had twice baked potatoes. What do you suggest?

Re: Holiday fun: Tell me about your elf

I am amused by others, but glad I didn't have to worry about this!

I am also amused by the naughty elfs. If you want to have some not PG fun, google Elf Shaming.

Re: Changing Up Thanksgiving -- Ideas?

Re: Have your holiday traditions changed?

This year I will be spending the majority of Christmas Eve at church - two services of doing the projection, one service in the Nursery. If the kids are with me for sleeping, I still put out cookies and milk and carrots. I know Anthony plays it up for me. Hard to let go they are growing up! Thanksgi...

Re: Low sodium diet

Low sodium - high protein.

My sister made her quite a bit of food - spagetti sauce, cooked metaballs, meatloafs, so hopefully it will hold for a while. And I will be bringing her dinner for a while as well.

Thanks for the ideas Betsy.

Low sodium diet

Mom is now on a low sodium diet - any suggestions on recipes, web sites, etc. She is not fond of chicken, will eat some seafood but not much. She is a comfort food person - meatloaf, mashed potatoes, etc.
